Sunday Brunch Edition: Emeryville

Upon entering, the first thing you see is their assortment of daily fresh pastries in their bakery counter: bear claws, cream puffs, croissants, to dog biscuits. On the weekends you will most likely need to put your name down on the waiting list to be seated.

Burger –
Well seasoned, good portion, ciabatta bread was lightly toasted well, the selection of greens was fresh.

Lemon Ricotta Pancakes –
3 pancakes came with the order, Very thin, the flavor of the lemon wasn’t overpowering, the ricotta added some texture to the fluffiness of the cakes.

Overall the portions were good for brunch; not so much that you would feel overly stuffed. Service was fine. Not too much for me to rave or complain about. Maybe the pastries i bought togo will leave more of a lasting impression.

  1. It’s the first brunch place I heard of for Emeryville. Soo many new spots are opening up there!

    • There’s a lot out there that I still need to try. So many in Berkeley as well. I’m sure you have a lot to recommend in that area.
